THE LYCEUM  THEATER

BONNE TERRE, MISSOURI

lyceum.jpg (65744 bytes)

The Lyceum Theater in Bonne Terre was once the focal point of fine entertainment for Bonne Terre and surrounding communities for both "home" talent and visiting celebrities and productions.  The above photo depicts how it appeared in the late 1880's.   After the closing of the theater, the Bonne Terre Farm & Cattle Company was housed in this building.  Below is an interior view plus a sample program dated February 13, 1911, which was contributed to us by Wanda Cole.
