BILL DOOLEY GONE AGAIN |
Last Wednesday night Bill Dooley, who killed Bill Harris and was adjudged insane at the May term of Circuit Court and sent to State Hospital No. 4, and Emile Servien, who killed a man in St. Louis and was also adjudged insane, made their escape from the Disturbed Ward, where they were confined, and are now at large. We understand that they got out by picking the lock, but are unable to furnish further particulars, as the officials seemed indisposed to give out any information.
This is the second time that Servien has escaped from the hospital, the first time last December, and was out six or seven weeks before he was caught in Texas. Dr. Keith, former Superintendent of State Hospital No. 4, says that he has never considered the Disturbed Ward at this institution a very secure building for the violent insane or inmates who were cunningly planning to escape. -- Farmington Times.
