GRAND JURY ADJOURNED WEDNESDAY AFTER A SESSION OF 16 DAYS

113 Indictments Returned. Sheriff Instructed to Get Busy Rounding Up Men Charged With Being Implicated In Recent Riot.

The special grand jury called by Judge Huck to investigate the recent Lead Belt riot adjourned Wednesday after being in session for 16 days. According to Prosecuting Attorney Mathews, 113 indictments have been returned as a result of the jury's investigation.

The charges include robbing in the first degree, assault to kill, interference with lawful employment of men at labor, conspiracy to commit a felony, flourishing weapons, having a deadly weapon while intoxicated, grand larceny, petit larceny, larceny from dwelling houses, disturbing the peace and many other minor charges.

In all 130 witnesses appeared before the grand jury. Each witness received $2.00 for his appearance. The jurors are allowed $3.00 per day. The total expense of the investigation will be in the neighborhood of $1500.

Executions for the arrest of the men indicted have been issued and placed in the hands of the sheriff. Men charged with felony will be required to furnish bond in the sum of $2500.
