THREE COUNTY YOUTHS
ON LAST NAVY CASUALTY LIST
LEAD BELT NEWS, Flat River, Missouri

The Navy's total of dead, wounded and missing announced in the war to date rose to more than 10,000 this week with the release of casualty list No. 5, which covered casualties reported to next kin during the period May 11 - June 6.

Of this number 371 are reported from Missouri and on the list released Tuesday three St. Francois Countians included:

Alfred W. Mount, son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Mount, Leadington.

Richard L. Sanders, son of Mrs. Hazel Sanders, Bonne Terre.

Harold C. Thomure, son of Augusta Thomure, Bonne Terre.

Other youths from nearby were:

Corp. Fred D. Cantrell, son of Mrs. Lillian Teckas, Des Arc.

George Ivan Dapron, brother of Mrs. Ada M. Meyer, Festus.

Lawrence Junior Gibbs, son of Charles A. Gibbs, Festus.

Horace Edward King, son of Thomas Edward King, Minimum.
