A Miner Killed
April 21 1889

Bonne Terre, Mo., April 20.

Last night a laborer named H. O. PERRY, whose business was to place cars on the cage to be taken up from the second level of the mine, ran a car into the shaft after the cage had passed up and falling with the car to the bottom of the mine, a distance of forty feet, was instantly killed.
