J. N. WARD PRESENTED WITH WATCH BY FELLOW WORKMEN

J. N. Ward, who was pensioned by the National Lead Co., a few weeks ago has been presented with a 21 jewel Illinois watch by his fellow workmen who contributed to the fund for the purchase of the same. Mr. Ward was popular among the employees of that company and was well liked by all the boys. He had served the company for 25 years as their blacksmith foreman and knew every man on the claim who had worked there for any length of time.
