JOHN OGLESBY

John Oglesby, a miner employed in shaft No. 4 of the Doe Run Lead Co., at Flat River, was killed October 19, 1904, by being struck by a large rock. The verdict of the coroner's verdict was that "Deceased came to his death by a rock about 14x18 feet in size and ranging from 2-1/2 to 4 inches in thickness falling from back immediately over the place where deceased was working." Deceased was married and had three children.
