OBITUARY ..... EDNA FOLEY

Edna Foley, formerly of Farmington, passed away August 15, 1981 at the Masonic Home in St. Louis, at the age of 87. She was born November 13, 1893 in Farmington, to the late William N. and Lucinda (Moore) Green.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Foley and by two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Foley is survived by two sisters, Miss Golda Green and Mrs. Jessie Huff.

During her lifetime, she was a house-mother at the Presbyterian Orphanage, in Farmington, for many years. She also served as postmaster at Knob Lick. She was a past member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Foley was also a regular contributor to the Lead Belt News, with her popular column, "Reveries."

Funeral services were August 18 at 2 p.m. at Cozean Funeral Home in Farmington with Rev. William T. Magill officiating. Interment was in Knob Lick Cemetery under the direction of Cozean Funeral Home.
