BOOTLEGGERS "STOOL PIGEONS" ARRESTED TUESDAY

Chas. Godat, "Big" Bill Phillips and Lee Brand, who are alleged to be the "stool pigeons" for the real bootleggers, were arrested Tuesday and arraigned before Squire Knapp on charges of illegal sale. They gave bond for their appearance for trial Wednesday of next week. The booze peddlers at Bonne Terre are dying hard, but Coffer says he is determined to attend their funeral, and flowers will be barred.
