Miss Peggy Fisher and Kenneth Buckley of Flat River were united in marriage by the Rev. Mark Lewis at the Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church in Flat River, at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, September 2 [1950], before members of the immediate families.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fisher and groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F.P. Buckley, all of Flat River. Her only attendant, Miss Beverly Rowe was attired in a navy blue sheer dress with white accessories. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and babies' breath with pink streamers. The groom was attended by Fred Schwab, Jr. of Flat River.

The bride chose for her wedding a blue crepe street length dress with navy accessories and carried a bouquet of red roses and stephonotis, with white streamers.

Mrs. Buckley is a graduate of the Flat River High School. The groom graduated from the Flat River High School and is now attending the Southwest State College in Springfield, Mo. During World War II he spent nineteen months in the South Pacific.

Immediately following the ceremony the couple drove to Springfield and then to Lake of he Ozarks where they spent a couple of days. They will reside in Springfield where they have an apartment.
