Bonne Terre Couple married in Farmington

Miss Marilyn Lee Horn and Mr. Ivan Burl Gann were married in a quiet ceremony by Rev. E. Blaylock at his home in Farmington at 10:30 o’clock on Saturday morning, June 24. They were attended by Miss Carol House and Derry Gann, brother of the groom.

The bride chose for her wedding a white linen suit with  white accessories and wore a corsage of gardenias. Miss House  wore a navy blue summer dress with white embroidery trim,  navy and white accessories and a corsage of gardenias. The former Miss Horn, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Horn,  was graduated from Bonne Terre High School in May.

Mr. Gann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gann, was educated in the  Bonne Terre schools. He was in the U.S. Army for three years, serving in the South Pacific. He is now employed as a pattern maker for the St. Joseph Lead Company.

The couple left at noon for a week’s honeymoon. They plan to reside temporarily with her parents.
