FARMINGTON FACULTY ELECTED LAST WEEK

At a meeting of the Farmington School Board, held last week, all the present staff of teachers except two, who did not apply, were re-elected. Supt. W. L. Johns and Prin. H. C. Halle had been re-elected at a previous meeting. The two not applying were Mrs. John A. Johnson and Miss Josephine Watkins. The two new teachers elected were Mrs. Jack Sinclair and Mrs. Dorothy Drake. All teachers were given an increase of $100 in their annual salary except Supt. Johns, who declined the raise. The janitors were re-elected and all were given an increase of $5.00 per month except the part time janitor at Douglas School whose salary was increased $2.00 per month.

The election of Treasurer came up again but as there was a tie vote no election was had. O. L. Haile and C. W. Roberts each received three votes.

Teachers elected were as follows:

High School -- Social Science, Henry Tudor Westover; Mathematics, Roberta H. Tetley; English and Latin, Miss Gertrude Zimmer; English, Mrs. James G. Newman, Sr.; Home Economics, Mrs. Mary L. Thomson; Social Science, Lytle L. Forshee; Biology and Agriculture, Joe M. Toalson; Music, Mrs. Lelia D. McKinney; Commercial, Mrs. Gladys Henriksen; English and Mathematics, Miss Ruth Toalson.

Upper Grades -- Miss Nellie E. Halter, Miss Abigail Rickus, Mrs. Margaret Sloan Sinclair, Mrs. Dorothy Drake.

Annie Lloyd School -- Miss Alice Karsch, Principal; Mrs. Ferd L. Thomsen, Miss Reba Rickus, John A. Henrich.

W. L. Johns School -- Miss Elise M. Rickus, Principal; Mrs. Ruth S. Clark, Miss Evelyn Miller, Miss Theresa Laws.

Douglas School -- Dayse F. Baker.
