THIRD MO. INFANTRY RELIEVED BY 41ST

Five officers and 128 enlisted men from Fort Snelling, Minn., arrived Wednesday to relieve the two companies of the Third Missouri who have been doing duty here for several weeks. The new men are in camp at St. Francois and will remain here for an indefinite period. The visit of the new men here will be what they make it. If they conduct themselves like gentlemen they will be treated as such and will have the hearty co-operation and assistance of all good citizens in whatever work they may have to perform.

We realize that in any considerable body of men there will always be a few who will take undue liberties and indulge in rowdyism when off duty, but men of this stamp can be brought to realize that it does not pay, if their conduct is not winked at by the balance of the men.
