BASEMENT BARBER SHOP TO CHANGE LOCATION

The Basement Barber Shop, which has been operated for several years in the basement of the Karsch building, will be moved in a few days to the room in the Grady building, occupied during recent years by the Hahs and Leach tailor shop. The proprietors of this barber shop are Leeman Rariden and Leeman Coffman.

Rariden and Coffman recently purchased the Bequette pool room and soft drink parlor, next door to the new location of their barber shop. The room in which they will locate their shop is too small to accommodate a shop of the size they have maintained. To meet this need, the room will be enlarged, adding several feet to its depth, this extra space to be deducted from the pool room next door, which had occupied the entire rear of the building.

This change of location will place the pool room and barber shop side by side in the same building, with a connecting door.

Hahs and Leach will not maintain an office on Main Street, but will have their office in connection with their cleaning plant at the rear of the Tucker store building.
