LAND MARK BEING REMOVED

Another of the familiar old land marks of Flat River is being removed from its accustomed place of honor on Main Street, to an ignominious place at the rear to be used as a place of storage for miscellaneous articles.

The land mark is the old frame structure adjoining the office of the Lead Belt Telephone Company, and for a number of years property of this company, having, at one time, been used as the company's office. The building is being removed to the rear of the lot to be used as a room for storage for the telephone company.

This building is perhaps 40 years old. It is said to have been a farm house in the days before there had been any lead mining operations in this section. It is weather-beaten but is still intact.
