LOUGHBOROUGH

The town of Loughborough was surveyed in May, 1870. The owners of the property where the town was located were Thomas Allen and Charles M. Burnham. The original tract included eight large blocks which were bordered on one side by the St. Louis & Iron Mountain Railroad.
