FIGHT AT DAVIS CROSSING
THE BISMARCK GAZETTE, Bismarck, St. Francois Co. MO, Fri. Nov. 27, 1908
John Taylor and Henry Harris became involved in a controversy over the possession
of a sled at the former's home at Davis Crossing last Saturday which resulted seriously
for Harris, and he is now confined to his house nursing a badly bruised head. In the
heat of the argument Harris threw a rock at Taylor, who retaliated by striking Harris on
the back of the head with a monkey wrench, rendering him unconscious. Harris was
taken to his home, and at first it was feared that his skull had been fractured but
according to latest reports he is out of danger. -- Labor Herald.
