Mrs. Edith Ora Politte was married to Edwin S. "Bud" Politte.  She passed away October 28, 1992, at the age of 98.  She was born January 27, 1894, in Reynolds County, Missouri, to William Edmond Ledbetter and Mary Etta Hunt Ledbetter.  She is buried at Parkview Cemetery near Farmington, Missouri.  Her husband, Edwin S. (Bud) Politte died September 22, 1965, at the age of 74 years, and is also buried at Parkview Cemetery.  He was born in Doe Run, Mo. on December 26, 1890, to Peter Politte ad Mary Veronica LaRose Politte.  He was married to Edith O. Ledbetter on August 1, 1928.   He was employed by the various mining companies in the area during his career.
