Alexander and Mary Bayles. View Obituary (Note: Obit says he was born in 1850, but tombstone says 1852). NOTE: William Asa Bayles' father's name was John Alexander "Bales" and his mother's name was Mary Margarett Kanzade Lawson "Bales". For some unknown reason, William Asa changed the spelling of his last name to "Bayles" when he came to St. Francois County. His family in Pulaski County are "Bales". |
