Robert William "Pat" Crawford, served aboard the USS Colorado, was involved in five major battles in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre where he received five stars. Crawford was aboard the Colorado next to the USS
Missouri, where President Truman signed the peace treaty in 1945.
He was called back to active duty in 1950 and served in
the Korean War.
