DOUGLAS A. SEABOURNE

 Held as POW for 13 months

       Douglas A. Seabourne, formerly of Flat River and now deceased, was wounded in action and was a prisoner of war for 13 months during World War II.  Seabourne served in the 179th Infantry 45th Division and earned the rank of corporal.  He served in North Africa and Italy.
