Herbert Hulsey of Desloge served in the U.S.
Army during World War II, a Staff Sergeant and AAA Automatic Weapons Crewman in Battery B,
205th AAA (AW) Battalion.
Hulsey was a Drill Sergeant at Fort Bliss,
Texas. In the Western Pacific, he was awarded
a Bronze Star and Good Conduct Medal. Hulsey
served four years, eight months.
He was entitled to wear Asiatic Pacific
Theatre Campaign Ribbon, American Theatre Campaign Ribbon, American Defense Service
Ribbon, three overseas Service Bars and Victory Ribbon
