KOREAN WAR VETERAN RECEIVES DIPLOMA
Johnnie "Casey" Jones, of
Desloge, looks at the high school
diploma he received some 50 years after he left school to serve in Korea.
The honorary diploma was commissioned by a legislative act passed recently.
Jones was just a teen, left, when he left school for a three-year
tour of duty as a tank and heavy equipment mechanic.
