Peter A. McCombs (deceased) was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, 33rd Infantry,
84th Infantry Division (Railsplitters) in the European Theater of Operations during World
War II. He is pictured as a Private but was a Sergeant at the time of his discharge,
according to Alberta McCombs. Her husband died Oct. 13, 1951 the result of an automobile
accident.
