Glenwood Miller, Ironton (deceased) was a Seaman First Class in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  Her served at the NTTC, Memphis, Tenn. and aboard the U.S.S. Catoctin in Norfolk, VA. 

He joined the Navy Feb. 26, 1945 and underwent training at Great Lakes Naval Station.  He received an Honorable Discharge on Sept. 23, 1947 and received the America Area and Victory World War II Medals. 

He was one of four brothers of the late Guy and Emma (Propst) Miller of Leadwood who served with the Navy during or after World War II.  The other brothers – William Edgar, Robert Edwin and Kenneth – currently live in Texas.
