    William T. Hunter who now lives at Terre Du Lac entered the service July 17 at Little Rock, Ark.  He did his basic training at St. Petersburg, Fla.  He was AAFTS Tech Supply Clerk at Fort Logan, Co and left Jan. 14, 1943 for the European Theatre.

    Hunter returned to the United States Aug. 7, 1945 and was discharged Sept. 17, 1945 at Jefferson Barracks.

    He attained the rank of sergeant and is entitled to wear the Good Conduct Button, Four Overseas Bars, Four Bronze Stars for Campaigns in Naples, Foggia; Rome, Arno, Apennines; Tunisian.  He was assigned with the 23rd Statistical Control Unit AAF, Allied Air Force.
