The paper contains four 9X12 pages. The advertisers in that issue were W. C. Norwine, Flat River; Goff & Florence, Desloge; Mrs. J. Spence, Bonne Terre; Thomas P. Cook, Bonne Terre; J. Jansen, Bonne Terre; The Cuban Cigar Company, Bonne Terre; J. T. Evans, Elvins; C. P. Thomure, Desloge; Williams & Ferry, Flat River.
Among the news items was the election of teachers in Desloge as follows: J. W. Jones, principal; Misses Grace Highley, Amanda Blue and Louise Pierce, assistants.
In the Flat River items the organization of a Sunday School at the new Methodist Church was mentioned, with J. A. Inman as superintendent; Miss G. Parker, assistant superintendent; Mrs. Kate Houser, secretary-treasurer. The following teachers were selected: Miss G. Parker, Mrs. J. Dunklin, O. M. Silsby and J. C. Houser.
