MRS. JENNIE DOSS

Jennie Langdon Doss, daughter of the late Edward and Mary Langdon, was born in Olney, Ill., and departed this life at her home in Desloge on September 19, 1941.

She was married to Sam Doss, who preceded her in death 15 years. She is survived by two sisters and two brothers, Kate (Mrs. D. H.) Cameron of Carbondale, Ill.; Mrs. Icy Huls and George Langdon of Elvins and Dederick Langdon of Bonne Terre, also a cousin, Mrs. Lillian Copeland of St. Louis.

She had lived in Desloge for many years and was a member of the Methodist Church, where funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. W. Doss. Members of the Philathea Sunday School class were flower girls, and special music was by a quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Cole, Walter Cook and Mrs. Morris Ward, who sang three selections, with piano accompaniment by Mrs. J. W. Hibbits. Burial was in the Bismarck Cemetery, under the direction of the Diemer Undertaking Company.
