RAILROAD INDEX PAGE
MISSISSIPPI
RIVER & BONNE TERRE RAILWAY |
The above is a photograph of Mr. T. V. Young who was an early Superintendent of the Mississippi River and Bonne Terre Railroad (a/k/a M.R.& B.T.) in a vehicle which was used by that company to make railroad track inspections. The above photo was contributed to us by William M Kajdzik. Below are photos of a converted Pierce Arrow automobile which was later used to make track inspections and most probably also used to shuttle "big wigs" around between the various railroad depots in the area. The two photos below were contributed to us by Rollin Becker and were part of the collection of his uncle, the late Howard Robertson. |
