Powells celebrate 60th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Powell (Harry and Lois) of Farmington recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were united in marriage in St. Louis on Aug. 3, 1945.

During their anniversary week they enjoyed a Cardinals baseball game and they, along with all of their children and families, attended church at Memorial United Methodist followed by a buffet dinner at Roseners Restaurant. Family members present included the Powells' daughter Marsha Beulick and her husband John and their children, Nicholas and Elaine; their son Gary, his wife Diane and their children Bree and John; and their son Bob, his wife Bendi and their daughter, Anne.
