HONORED ON 50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Russell Parks of Irondale were honored on their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration March 17th [1974] at the recreation hall at Camp Irondale Estates hosted by their six children who were all present for the occasion. They are Lelia (Mrs. Howard) Laws, Camp Irondale Estates, Loretta (Mrs. Walter) Harrington, Irondale, Mickey (Mrs. Delmon) Short, Irondale, Dennis Parks, Little Rock, Ark., and Danny Parks, Tucson, Ariz. Twenty-one of their twenty-six grandchildren and seven of their ten great-grandchildren were present. A dinner was served at the noon hour for the family and open house was in the afternoon for their friends who came to honor them.
