1864 in Belgrade, Washington County, Missouri to David Lenox Horton and Margaret Susannah
Layne Horton. He died February 28, 1939, and is buried at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery,
Doe Run, St. Francois County, Missouri. Susan Mary "Mildred" (House)
Horton was born April 13, 1860 to John House, Jr. and Julia Ann Sago.
She died Feb. 7, 1948, and is also buried at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.
Ellis and "Mildred" were married Apr. 2, 1890 in Doe Run. They were the
parents of 4 sons, two of whom are buried in family plot in Doe Run Memorial
Cemetery. Also parents of Thomas Edward Horton (1901-1972) buried in Fort
Wayne, Indiana. |
