Additional Information:  The above sketch is of Christine's great-great grandfather, Reuben W. Wilson.   The original sketch had been in the possession of Virginia (Devine) Snyder, a cousin, who has since passed away.  The exact date of the sketch is unknown.  Reuben Wilson was the oldest of seven children born to Zachariah K. Wilson and Mary (Hall) Wilson.  His parents were landowners as early as 1840 near Irondale, Washington, Missouri, having made the trek from Georgia with three of their seven children.  Reuben and his wife, Amanda M. (Greene) Wilson, had 12 children while they lived on their farm in Bismarck, Missouri.  His wife, Amanda, died in childbirth in 1883, leaving Reuben with seven children still at the home.  The oldest daughter, Mary Ann "Polly" (Wilson) Devine, helped to raise many of her younger brothers and sisters after the death of their mother.  Most of the Wilsons are buried in the Hamilton Cemetery off of Old Irondale Road east of Bismarck, while some are buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Bismarck.   Christine would love to hear from anyone else who is researching this Wilson line.
