Mr. and Mrs. Ralph EDMONDS have returned home from a two week's vacation trip to Sarasota, Fla., where they visited their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lee EDMONDS and daughters, Nancy and Diane. While vacationing, Mr. and Mrs. EDMONDS visited many places of interest and did some deep sea fishing in Florida.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter SINCLAIR visited in St. Louis Wednesday with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. COLEMAN.

Dixie KOHN returned to Columbia, Mo., Saturday to resume work after the holiday vacation. Dixie spent several extra days at home due to the illness of his father, Lorn KOHN and accompanied his father to the Missouri Pacific Hospital in St. Louis, where he is now a patient.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar DOWNS and son returned home last week from Waldensburg, Ark., where they had visited over the holidays with Mrs. DOWNS' mother, Mrs. Otto RUEGGER and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee GRIDER spent New Year's Day in St. Louis visiting Mrs. GRIDER's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. John EBENRICH.

Mr. and Mrs. John R. WARD and daughter spent Sunday here visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James WARD and family and also his grandmother, Mrs. Jessie WELKER. His sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gene PARKER and children of Farmington Rte. 2 were also Sunday visitors in the WARD and WELKER homes. Mr. WARD, who is with the U.S. Forest Service has been transferred to Ironton, Ohio from Cass Lake, Minn., and the family were enroute to their new home.

Mr. and Mrs. Don DAVIS and children of St. Louis spent the week end visiting Mrs. DAVIS' mother, Mrs. Wanda HENDERSON and family.

Fred EDMONDS of Bonne Terre visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mont EDMONDS on Monday. Mr. EDMONDS and his wife had just returned home after spending the holidays in San Francisco, Calif., with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. LOFGREN and sons. They also visited his nephew, Capt. and Mrs. Byron EDMONDS and son at Sacramento, Calif. Capt. EDMONDS is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph EDMONDS of Bismarck.

Mrs. Lorn KOHN visited Mr. KOHN at the Missouri Pacific Hospital in St. Louis Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry EGGERS of Pine Lawn spent Thursday and Friday here visiting their children and other relatives. Friday Mr. and Mrs. EGGERS and brother, C. E. EGGERS and wife attended the funeral of their brother-in-law, Walter PETTUS, at Bonne Terre.

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd HEDRICK and son of Fenton, Mo., spent the week end visiting his mother, Mrs. Goldie HEDRICK.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob GRISHAM and sons, Mike and Lee returned home last week from a week's trip to Florida, where they visited his brother, Ed GRISHAM and family at Pensacola.

Mr. and Mrs. Leeman GRUNER made a trip to Jefferson City last week to take their daughter, Miss Bonita GRUNER, who had spent the holidays here. While there they visited Mr. GRUNER's niece and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bill GAINES and children, and Rev. and Mrs. A. R. HICKS.

Mr. and Mrs. Malvan UNICE and children of Corning, Ark., spent the week end visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. L. UNICE and Mr. and Mrs. Glen FREEMAN and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack FREEMAN of Affton, Mo., were Sunday and Monday visitors of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen FREEMAN and family.

New Year's Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russell BARGER were Mr. and Mrs. Buford WELCH, Mr. and Mrs. Walter SCHAEFER of Louis, Mrs. Mollie WELCH, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. WELCH and family, and Mr. and Mrs. John F. NEWTON, Jr. and son Bucky of Bismarck.

Mr. and Mrs. Darrell GLORE of St. Louis, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy SHANER of Irondale, James MILLER and son of Desloge and Mrs. Lottie MAGURA of Bonne Terre were Sunday visitors of their mother, Mrs. Pheba HARGROVE.

Mr. and Mrs. Mont SMITH of Fredericktown were Friday visitors of her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. L. T. LIGHT.

Mrs. R. E. WOOD and Miss Hattye MATKIN visited Mrs. James WOOD at the Baptist Home for the Aged, at Arcadia, Wednesday. Mrs. WOOD celebrated her 96th birthday, January 3.

Mr. and Mrs. Emmett HASTY and children visited in Lesterville, Sunday afternoon with the former's sister, Mrs. Mamie SOHN.

Mr. and Mrs. James SHOULTS and son were Sunday afternoon visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Harold DUTY of Belgrade.

Mr. and Mrs. Adrain HORTON of Richmond Heights spent New Year's Day visiting his mother, Mrs. Elvie HORTON.

Wm. DUNLAP of University City spent the week end visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy DUNLAP.

Shipman & Sons ambulance service moved Lorn KOHN from his home here to Missouri Pacific Hospital in St. Louis, Friday, Jan. 4.

Mr. and Mrs. J. N. SHIPMAN returned home last Wednesday from a visit over New Year's with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. LEGG.
