Mr. and Mrs. R. M. WHITE and family returned home Sunday after a two weeks visit with
relatives at Black, Mo.

Henry CRUMP spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Herman LEVELS of Cadet, Mo.

Among those who were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Price GLORE were:  Mr. and Mrs. Evan BONE
and daughter, Mrs. John QUALLS and small daughter, Paulina and Miss Galena GLORE of
Desloge; Mr. and Mrs. Bill PARISH of Salem and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd HULSEY and little
son of Leadwood.

Royal MOYER and Lloyd LEONARD of Salem, Misses Opal and Hazel COMPTON of Jordontown
and Mr. and Mrs. Bill PARISH attended the show at Elvins Sunday night.

Mrs. Warren OVERSTREET was employed in the post office Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. Birdie DUNLAP of Wortham, has purchased the Mason Store.  E. MATHIAS will take
over the business for Mrs. DUNLAP.

J. W. ARMSTRONG spent the week-end with homefolks at Hopewell.

Orville YOUNT of Irondale, was a visitor in town Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin SAGO and children of Festus, visited Mr. and Mrs. Wm. SAGO, Sunday.

Mrs. John SAGO's brother of Potosi, spent Sunday here.
