THE GRAND THEATER DESLOGE, MISSOURI |
|
|
The Grand Theater was located on Elm Street in Desloge, Missouri. It operated from the early 1920's until the 1950's. It was originally owned by a Mr. Tuttle, but was forced to close during the Great Depression of 1929. It was reopened in the late 1930's by a Mr. Corbin and continued to operate until the late 1950's. As is illustrated by the photos below, the local radio station, K.F.M.O. held their "barn dances" at the Grand Theater. |
