Miss Mary BEAN is now at Colorado Springs; she reports a delightful time.

Mrs. BARRON of St. Louis, is visiting Mrs. S. M. CARTER.

The new cedar and barrel-head factory is progressing nicely and will soon be
in active operation.

Geo. E. SHAEFFER is making a signal success as salesman for the Irondale
Milling Co.

Report has it that Mrs. D. F. YERGAIN, of Boise City, Idaho, is in a
critical condition; her recovery is doubtful.

It is reported that Mrs. H. L. STAPP of Leadwood, is suffering from another
attack of appendicitis.

Mrs. Alice M. SMITH, who has been visiting in California for several months
is now at her sisters in Tooele,
Utah, enroute home.

Roy Van LEAR has secured a position in the big store of W. E. BUTLER at
Bismarck.

J. M. HUGHES, G. F. BEALS and M. M. HUGHES were in Bismarck on business
Tuesday.

Five diamond drills are in operation on the Schmalz property.

Miss Rela McCOMBER made a trip to Bismarck Wednesday.

Rev. A. M. ROBINSON left last Wednesday for Fredericktown to arrange for
placing his two children in school there.

John T. RICE is putting a granitoid walk in front of his store building.

Directors of the Cherrytown townsite company held their regular meeting
Wednesday.

Walter LEMON, of near Hopewell, is reported sick with typhoid fever.

The child of Lee MARTIN is improving slowly from an attack of meningitis.

Camp meeting began last Saturday at this place.
