NEW BUILDING FOR ELVINS

J. C. Laird, who is conducting a garage and automobile accessory store in Elvins, in the small building next door to the Carr and Thompson store, has leased the lot adjoining his building, and has completed plans for the erection of a cobblestone building to be used as an automobile show room, office and salesroom. The building will be 60 X 70 feet, and will be one of the most attractive business buildings in the Lead Belt, and a decided improvement on the part of town in which it is to be located. The contract for the erection of this building will be let in a few days. It is expected that actual work of erection will begin the first of July.

Mr. Laird has recently taken the agency for the Overland automobile and is having this building erected to facilitate his business.
