Miss BAILEY of Blodgett spent the past week the guest of her aunt, Mrs. T. E. GIDEON.

Mr. and Mrs. John H. McFARLAND and two daughters, Norma Jean and Maxine, of Elvins,
were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Ira MARTIN.

Adrian BRADY came in Saturday from Anderson, Mo., to visit with his mother, Mrs. Ed
CURLEE after spending the summer in that city with relatives.

George WRIGHT of Farmington Route Six spent Sunday here with Everett MUNGLE and other
friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur ASLINGER and children of Desloge were visitors Sunday afternoon
with Mrs. ASLINGER's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer ALDRICH.

Misses Bernice and Dorothy ROBERTS of St. Louis, spent last week end here the guests
of Miss Mary CURLEE.

Mr. and Mrs. Elva RUSSELL and sons of Elvins, and Mr. and Mrs. Everett PINKLEY and
children of Flat River, were visitors Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Homer ALDRICH.

Rev. Ernest R. O'CONNOR of Hogan will conduct church services Saturday night, Sunday
morning and Sunday night at the St. Francois Baptist church.

While working on the telephone line Thursday of last week, Clyde McFARLAND had the
misfortune to cut his head on the left side above his eye with an ax while cutting
brush away from the poles.
