KERLAGON FAMILY CEMETERY

This cemetery is located on Route 1, Bonne Terre, MO, near Aulsbury Chapel area.  Established on the farm of James E. Kerlagon, (2) Monroe Kerlagon, (3) 1979 Mann.  This transcription was submitted by family of the late Floriece (Flo) Horn LaBare who transcribed the cemetery in 1979 in connection with her personal genealogy research and subsequently published by the Mo. State Genealogical Association in their Fall 1985 Journal.

*  Mary Ann KERLAGON, age 62, born Jan. 5, 1833, Belleview, MO., died April 24, 1895; parents: Peter L. & Hannah (HANGER) PALMER.

* James Elias KERLAGON, age 81, born Nov. 24, 1824, Ste. Genevieve Co., MO, died July 15, 1905; parents: Elias & Mary Ann (nee PALMER) KERLAGON.

Mary Alice KERLAGON, age 1 yr. 7 mo., born July 12, 1860, Bonne Terre, Mo., died Feb. 18, 1862; parents:  James E. & Mary Ann KERLAGON.

Hazel KERLAGON, age 7 months 2 days, born Dec. 25, 1897, Bonne Terre, Mo., died July 27, 1898; parents:  Zeno E. & Margaret KERLAGON. 

Male Infant KERLAGON, born Oct. 29, 1905, Bonne Terre, Mo., died Oct. 29, 1905; parents:  James Monroe & Florence KERLAGON.

Twins, age 8 days, b. Bonne Terre, Mo.; parents:  James Monroe & Florence KERLAGON.  Male Infant KERLAGON, b. March 22, 1904, died March 30, 1904 & Female Infant KERLAGON, b. March 22, 1904, died March 29, 1904.

Shelton STEGALL, Infant, no date, born Bonne Terre, MO; parents:  William & Clara STEGALL.

Cufford W. STEGALL, age 17, born February 4, 1899, Bonne Terre, Mo.; died Dec. 4, 1916; parents:  William & Clara KERLAGON STEGALL.

Infant JENNINGS, no date, born Bonne Terre, Mo.; parents:  Alvine & Belva STEGALL JENNINGS.

Evelyn Lorene JENNINGS, no date, born Bonne Terre, Mo; parents Alvine & Belva STEGALL JENNINGS.

Walter MORRIS, born 1890, Bonne Terre, Mo., died 1890; parents: William & Catherine J. (KERLAGON) MORRIS.

Iva MORRIS, born 1895 Bonne Terre, Mo.;  parents:  William & Catherine J. (KERLAGON) MORRIS.

Infant MORRIS, b. Bonne Terre, Mo. [Oct. 29, 1889]; parents:  William & Catherine J. (KERLAGON) MORRIS.

* Great-grandparents of Mrs. LaBare.


Note:  Cemetery is located approx. 10 miles east of Bonne Terre, Missouri (Hwy. 67/East on "K"/North on "D"/East on Farm to Market Road to Henry Mann Farm/North into Drive/walk through field to hill near woods.  Part of farm in Ste. Genevieve County, however, house, buildings, and cemetery is located in portion of farm situated in St. Francois County.
