M. E. DOSING OF FLAT RIVER BUYS ELVINS STORE

M. E. Dosing of Flat River has purchased the O. F. Saak mercantile business in Elvins, assuming management Monday morning. This is a grocery and meat market with a small stock of dry goods and general merchandise located near the Elvins High School Building and had been owned and operated by Carl Lupkey for several years up to August of last year when Mr. Saak, who had made his home in Doe Run, purchased it.

Mr. Dosing has been in the mercantile business in Flat River at two or three different times, having recently sold a business in what is known as the Lawrence Building two or three months ago. The Dosing family will move to Elvins this week to the Harry Berryman property in what is known as "Maurertown."

Mr. Saak has not announced his plans for the future beyond stating that he expects to remain in Elvins for the present.
