CLYDE T. McCLARY IS PENSIONED BY ST. JOE, JAN. 1

 
Clyde E. [sic] McClary of 307 Haney St., Flat River, worked his last day for the St. Joseph Lead Company on Dec. 31, 1964. He worked for the company intermittently from May 20, 1920, through Dec. 28, 1937; and has been continuously employed since March 31, 1942.

Mr. McClary worked as a Laborer in the Yard Department, as a Sample Man at No. 17 Mine, as a Laborer and Carpenter in the Construction Department and as a Tailings Disposal Man and Carpenter in the Milling Department.

A native of Elvins, Mr. McClary was married Oct. 12, 1940, to Marple Hunt. They have two children and one grandchild. A daughter, Mrs. Joe (JoAnne) Johnson, lives in St. Louis; and a son, Johnny, is at home.

During his retirement the pensioner expects to rest and follow his hobbies of home work and gardening. Mr. and Mrs. McClary are members of the Flat River Christian Church. One of their chief interests has been in helping beautify the area between Haney Street and Flat River Creek. They have lived at their present address since 1940.
