John Anci, a Slavenian miner, was accidentally killed by falling rock in the mines on Friday afternoon of last week [October 27, 1905]. Deceased had been in the employ of he Lead Company for over twenty years and was held in such high esteem by fellow countrymen that hundreds of them attended his funeral which took place at the Catholic church Sunday afternoon. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his tragic death.
