YOUNG MINER KILLED BY FALLING ROCK IN LEADWOOD, SATURDAY.

��� Joseph Lyons, aged 22 years, was killed at No. 12 shaft at Leadwood Saturday when a large rock fell on him from the roof of the mine.�

��� Young Lyons had been employed in Leadwood for three or four years.� His parents live in Washington County about three miles west of Potosi.� The remains were removed to the family home, where the funeral was held Sunday.�

���� The unfortunate young man had been boarding at the home of Mrs. Burns in Leadwood.
