JUSTIN A. MOORE


Justin A. Moore of Viburnum, retired from the St. Joseph Lead Co., Nov. 1 of this year. He was originally employed by the Mine La Motte Corporation in 1943 and on 1958 transferred to the St. Joseph Lead Co. and continued to retirement.

In the course of his employment he worked as a laborer in the shops department; laborer, crusherman helper, filter and dryer man, crusher man, table man, rod-ball man and flotation man in the milling department.

On August 11, 1928 he was married to the former Grace Dees and they have three daughters and one son: Helen, Mrs. V. D. Hawn of St. Charles; Shirley, Mrs. Jim Priest, University City; Kay, Mrs. Franklin Sitzes of St. Louis and Jay of Ste. Genevieve. They also have eleven grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Moore are members of the Marquand Methodist Church. Mr. Moore is a member of Marcus Lodge No. 10 A.F. & A.M., at Fredericktown, and Council No. 43 of Bonne Terre. He now plans to supervise his 410 acre farm near Marquand and to raise white face cattle.
