ALBUM #1
The photos below were submitted by Ruth Carver. They came from the collection
of Lillie Wilfong Carver of the Bonne Terre,
Missouri area. Lillie was daughter of Miss Gertie Duncan who married James Henry
Wilfong on July 3, 1910.

Ruth says: "These two photos were from the collection of Lillie Wilfong Carver of Bonne Terre. They were both postcard type photos and have nothing written on the back. The one on the right has "Liberty Studio, 164 So. State St., Salt Lake City, Utah", stamped at one end on the back. We do not know if this was a traveling photo company or exactly how these photos were acquired by the family, but apparently were taken by a photographer with props." |
|
Ruth says: "The above photo came from collection of Lillie Wilfong Carver of Bonne Terre area. The back of this photo says 'Vada Wilfong 1922', however, we do not know who that is. " |
|
The above photo of a lady sitting on a rock bluff was in collection of Lillie Wilfong Carver of Bonne Terre. Photo is marked on back: "Jessie along snake river this last spring 1921." Who is Jessie? |
The above photo which is also from the collection of Lillie Wilfong Carver of Bonne Terre was apparently taken on someone's porch and has written on the back "Jessie and I in 1920." Again, Jessie who??? Also, need identity of woman in plaid dress standing beside her. |
This photo from collection of Lillie Mae Wilfong Carver of Bonne Terre is marked on back: "this was taken in May at one of my gransons wedding oh yes we were married 49 years Dec 13, 1964 that a long time". Anyone recognize this handsome couple or the wedding date which would have been December 13, 1915? |
